| 内容記述 | 本論文における調査の目的は、学習者中心のタスク活動が英語の音韻習得に及ぼす影響を考察することにある。一定期間、ほぼ同一レベルの学習者に対して異なった教授法(従来型と発見型学習)のもとで学習した被験者の音韻習得、特に超文節的要素の習得に関する結果を考察してみると、発見型学習を経験した被験者の方が、学習到達度が高いことが判明した。このことから英語音韻習得における認知的アプローチに基づく教授法の有効性を主張する。 This paper reports on my study, which attempted to ascertain to what extent a communicative-cognitive approach affects Japanese college students' improvement of given English prosody, namely rhythm, linking and elision. The subjects were divided into two groups to which two different treatments (Group 1: listen-and-repeat-centered, Group 2: interaction-and-discovery-centered) were given over the period of one month respectively. The results showed that there were significant differences in subjects' oral skills between the two groups. | |||||
