| 内容記述 | In Japan, a lot of Kleingarten (stay-type community farms) are located in rural areasand a lot of Kleingarten users live in metropolitan cities. It is thought, however, thatthe demand for Kleingarten will increase in local cities near rural areas in the future.Thus, in this paper, we have analyzed the demand for Kleingarten from families livingin condominiums in Yamagata City, which is one such local city. First, the ratio of families that have one or more members with an interest inKleingarten is about 30 percent on the whole samples. This ratio is higher in areaswhere the householders are young (in their twenties or thirties) or old (sixties andover), and where the householders are civil servants or pensioners. Second, most of the families that have one or more members with an interest inKleingarten consider it to be a communication tool for the family; in other words,they want the Kleingarten to be used by all family members including those with nointerest in Kleingarten. Last, concerning the requirements of families using Kleingarten, their needs for‘hard’aspects such as Laube (rest facilities) were found to be higher than their needsfor‘soft’aspects such as exchange events. | |||||
